Heroes first aired on public television on September 23th, 2006 and Season One consisted of
23 episodes. The season begins with several “odinary” individuals around the world dicovering
that they posses “extra-odinary” abilties.

Season One ranked #21 on the USA NBC rankings and had over 14.3 Million Viewers in just America!

Season two followed the same storyline (airing on the 24th of
September 2007) new heroes were introduced.. whereas the abilities of
the old ones
had not yet been fully explored, the season was originally planned for
24 episodes but was cut down to 11 episodes due to the WGA writer’s
strike.

Promises have been made and hopefully will be fulfilled with the unvieling of Season 3 on the 22nd of September 2008, Monday.
Season two left us with alot of questions, the biggest one; Are Niki Sanders and Nathan Petrelli alive?


Season Three is to feature 30+ episodes .. the story will continue from where
it was left of at the end of season 2 and a 60 minutes clip summarizing
the first two seasons will precede the first episode. Throughout 2008
NBC has been airing spoilers aswell as promotional videos have been
released repeatedly stating that season 3 will bring a group of new
villians, Tim Kring (creator) claimed it himself that season 3 has new
villains. A promotional video was released showing the faces of each of
the major characters and the words “hero” and “villian” plastered over
them and apparently.. season 3 will give life to some of the “inner
villians” inside of these heroes.

NBC also started publishing a promotional video in which Noah Bennet
is talking to Claire saying; “In July NBC began airing a teaser for
season three featuring Noah Bennet talking to Claire stating, “This was
before you were even born, I was finding these people and locking them
away so that they couldn’t hurt anybody. Now a dozen of them have
escaped, and they will kill…and they will terrorize…and they will
cause…unimaginable destruction to the world…they’re villains,
Claire,” whereas the fates of Niki Sanders and Nathan Petrelli are
still unclear.

Well i for one cannot wait for season 3 to come out.. till then ciao!
