The title of this post makes it even harder for me =P, after issuing such a bold statement its my responsibility to live up to it.. which i will, no worries there.

Basically ever thought that you could turn all your firefox bookmarks/downloads/themes/addons into ONE toolbar? i.e. create an environment in which you have control over every single firefox feature without going through the hassle of opening menus and whatnot? Well that dream has come true thanks to the guys ad exxile.de.

Well as you can see the inferface is quiet amazing.. and we’ll divide this post in 2 sections, first the PROS of AiOS, secondly the CONS.

PROS:

  • Sleek and Cleen slide-out toolbar, easy to use.
  • Allows all firefox features to be manipulated in the click of a button.
  • Easy to install and Remove (like a normal toolbar).
  • Very easy to use and also the “Multi-panel” allows you to view page sources, information etc.

Those were probably the PROS, now for the CONS.

CONS:

  • Okay the biggest (and the only) CON has to be the ammount of pc-memory it consumes, i.e. it DRASTICALLY slows down your pc if you’re on a .. lets say 256mb ram pc.. i.e. if you’re using a software like Windows Media Player 11, Windows Live Messenger and Firefox with AiOS you’re bound to expierience alot of system hang-ups etc, i’d advise OPTIMIZING your windows first, go here.

:P Thats the only con i found.. otherwise its brilliant!

Resources:

  • You can find a complete list all the features Here.
  • List of useful keyboard shortcuts for it Here.

Note: it does work with Firefox 3.0 and 3.1 and it does in no way negatively affect browsing speed.

Feedback is welcome, Happy Browsing!
