On the 30th of September, tuesday.. facebook released version 2.0 of its Iphone application. Version 2.0 aimed at being much closer to the “full” facebook i.e. including all the features of the browser-based facebook. Version 2.0 has some really good fixs aswell as alot of new features.

Key feature that have been added include notifications, phototagging, Mini Feeds, message inbox search and friend requests. The application all in all looks much better and has made the facebook on the Apple Iphone much richer in terms of features aswell as visuals. Phototagging has been embedded and finally the issue of Message Attachements not being displayed within the Iphone version of facebook have been resolved.

All in all the update was not a disappointment at all but improved upon the previous version greatly and i guess this update should do well in terms of satisfying people who criticized the previous versions.
